The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has shown signs urgency
in its effort to reposition the party's machinery in Anambra state in
preparation for the forthcoming governor elections.
A a delegation of the party's national leadership led by the
National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha met secretly in Abuja with the Anambra PDP
Peace and Reconciliation Committee set up to unite warring parties in the
state.
THISDAY gathered the committee was set up by the state
chapter of the PDP following a long-drawn feud between the various contenders
to the party's leadership in the state.
