Public fighting: Ogun suspends 2 rulers



For engaging in public fighting, two traditional rulers have been suspended indefinitely by the Ogun State government.
The two monarchs, Oba of Itori, Oba Akorede Akamo and the Baale of Olapeleke both in Ewekoro local government area reportedly engaged in a free for all fight.

The ugly public disgrace occurred at a police station when the duo were invited for fact-finding mission over an issue.
In a statement monitored last night on the state-owned television, the state government announced the indefinite suspension of the duo.
According to the Secretary to the State Government, the action of the two traditional rulers was demeaning and unbecoming of such persons in such exalted positions.
